⌨️ Typing in Esperanto
Esperanto has special characters that make pronunciation very straightforward and predictable. But how do you type them?
Simply add an X
The most straightforward way to get around this problem is to simply use the convention of adding an X to "normal" characters to represent the special ones.
For example: you type "mangxas" instead of "manĝas", "ambaux" instead of "ambaŭ", etc.
Many programs and websites will even detect that you're doing this, and will automatically replace the "X pairs" with the special characters for you.
This is known as the X-System.
